Dr. Kathleen Hong serves as the Associate Laboratory Director of the RMANJ Embryology Laboratory HCLD/TC (ABB), Reproductive Physician in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, and has worked at the prestigious New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Hong’s research interests include in vitro fertilization laboratory embryo culture, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), endometrial synchronization, and inherited genetic disorders.
Dr. Hong and her team are not only aware of the latest in fertility technology, but are always working to develop new and revolutionary approaches to reproductive health care. Her methods can help patients who have previously had difficulty conceiving, even with the help of their physicians. She has led several large studies and published in top peer-reviewed fertility journals, including Fertility and Sterility and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics.
Dr. Hong is one of the few reproductive endocrinologists in the country trained in embryology. She has found this experience to be critical to improving patient care and devotes a portion of her time to the embryology lab.
