IVF & Egg Donor & Surrogacy
Founded in 1922, Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital (HKSH) is one of the leading private hospitals in Hong Kong, renowned for its high-quality healthcare services, advanced medical technologies, and professional standards. From its humble beginnings as a sanatorium with just 28 beds, HKSH has grown into an institution with approximately 500 beds and over 30 specialized centers, committed to providing patients with a comfortable, safe, and modern environment that ensures superior medical and nursing care. “Quality Service, Excellent Care” is the service motto of HKSH. Over the years, the hospital has been dedicated to continuously introducing advanced medical equipment, improving its internal and external environments, and hiring experienced doctors, outstanding nursing staff, and skilled technicians, striving to deliver high-quality medical and nursing care to patients, achieving holistic care.
The Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital’s In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Center was established in 1986 and has been providing high-quality IVF services and patient care to infertile couples for many years. Our center boasts a professional team that includes specialists in obstetrics and gynecology/reproductive medicine, urology, endocrinology, specialized nurses, and embryologists, who possess extensive experience in assisted reproduction and excel in treating male and female infertility. Our center’s services are patient-centered: we are willing to listen and help you build a wonderful family. Over the years, our center has kept abreast of technological advancements, resulting in improved embryo quality for patients and a significant increase in the take-home baby rate. The advent of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) has successfully provided treatment options for infertile men, offering a glimmer of hope for patients with insufficient sperm. Sperm can be directly extracted from testicular tissue (TESE) or active sperm can be aspirated from the epididymis (MESA). Our center also utilizes in vitro maturation (IVM) technology to provide natural cycle IVF treatments. This allows embryologists to freeze oocytes for cancer patients before they undergo radiotherapy or chemotherapy, enabling them to use these oocytes for fertility purposes after recovery.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Center offers a range of obstetrical and gynecological services, including ultrasound pelvic examinations, cervical smears, colposcopies, minimally invasive gynecological surgeries, maternal-fetal medicine and prenatal diagnoses, fetal ultrasound scans, chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, assisted reproduction, and gynecological cancer services. The center is staffed by experienced obstetrics and gynecology specialists who are committed to providing high-quality, considerate, and personalized services to meet the needs of different women.
